Emily Jakob
Emily never thought yoga was “for her.”
As someone who’s always lived life in the fast lane — she’s completed 5 full Ironmans, 6 half Ironmans, and 2 marathons — slowing down wasn’t the vibe. But over time, through injury, burnout, and an ADHD diagnosis, she realized that what her body and brain needed wasn’t less challenge, but a different kind of challenge.
She found it here — in the heat, the music, the flow, the community.
“I realized this could give me the full package: cardio, strength, mobility, and mindfulness. It’s a space where I can grow — physically and mentally — and now I get to help others do the same.”
Emily’s currently pursuing her PhD in exercise psychology, researching how to help more people find consistency and purpose in movement. Her teaching is rooted in science, energy, empathy — and a deep understanding of what it takes to push through excuses and actually show up.
